Local bank card usage issues

UnionPay status in Morocco: Accepted inconsistently. Cash withdrawals via Bank of Africa ATMs are reported successful. Online payments/Booking.com linking often fail with Russian-issued UnionPay. Alternative: Kyrgyz bank cards are reported as more reliable for bookings and car rentals (credit BIN capability).

In Casablanca, UnionPay cards (specifically Rosselkhozbank) have limited acceptance. While some places may accept them, it's not universal. With sanctions potentially impacting their usability after August 20th, it is advisable to carry sufficient cash as a primary payment method.

For payments in Morocco using RSB (Rosselkhozbank) UnionPay cards, there have been mixed experiences.
