To obtain a SIM card in South Korea with a foreign passport, you can typically visit telecom provider stores (like KT, SKT, LG U+) or airport kiosks. You will need your passport and potentially a visa or K-ETA. For a bank account and card, it is often more complex for non-residents. Some banks might allow opening an account with a passport and a certificate of alien registration, or under specific visa conditions. In some cases, a SIM card purchase might precede the bank account opening. Consider services like G-money for simpler payment solutions if a full bank account is not immediately accessible. Some ATMs may accept foreign UnionPay cards for cash withdrawals.
