Consular officers frequently demand official transaction statements or payment confirmations directly from the bank. It is highly recommended to have these PDF bank-certified documents printed and ready to avoid being sent to public computers in the visa center to extract them during the appointment.

When traveling to Schengen countries like Germany for short stays (e.g., two days/one night after visiting Hungary), be prepared to provide documentation as proof of stay, potentially including confirmation from a host or accommodation provider, even for brief visits.

Essential documentation for Hungary visa: fully paid, non-refundable flight tickets, accommodation bookings, and bank statements with movement of funds (3 months). Avoid using third-party travel agencies for bookings, as invalid or non-verifiable reservations lead to high rejection rates. Any change to the itinerary (hotels, dates) after visa issuance must be reported to the consulate via email with updated documentation to avoid visa revocation.

For visa applications, proof of onward travel beyond the Schengen zone is not required once the applicant has left the Schengen area. If travel within China is not yet booked (e.g., sales not opened), it is not necessary to provide documentation for these segments.
