Using a Greek Schengen visa primarily to enter another Schengen country (e.g., Germany) on the same day as arrival in Greece carries risks. Greek border control may question the traveler's intent if the stated primary destination in the visa application (Greece) does not align with immediate onward travel. Such actions could lead to denial of entry by Greek authorities or rejection of future Greek visa applications. Schengen border guards have access to visa application data. German border controls are known for conducting thorough checks, sometimes pulling passengers from arriving flights for inspection. While some individuals have successfully traveled this route (e.g., from Kos to Berlin), it is generally advised against due to potential long-term visa complications.
