Russian citizens staying in Belarus longer than 90 days must obtain an RVP (temporary residence permit) or VNZh (permanent residence permit).
A simple temporary registration is insufficient. Applications for VNZh should ideally be submitted based on the location of your permanent residence (purchased property). While renovating, a temporary registration at your current rental is possible but does not extend legal stay beyond 90 days without RVP/VNZh. Upon application for VNZh, request a certificate confirming your legal stay during the processing period. Consult local migration offices (OGIM) for specifics.
