Tracking application status

To verify a Mi Argentina account in person, visit a Punto Digital office. For example, in Buenos Aires, one user successfully verified their account at Dragones 2201, Belgrano, in just two minutes.

Verifying Mi Argentina without a physical DNI can be challenging in regional Punto Digital offices, which may insist on a 'tramite number' from the DNI card. A workaround is to update or confirm your CUIL number using your full name in the Mi Argentina profile, which can facilitate account re-registration even without the physical DNI.

The online status check feature on renaper.gob.ar has been removed approximately two weeks ago. Users are advised to check status via their WhatsApp bot.

Domicilio (proof of address) procedures vary by jurisdiction. In the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), the process is handled via the miBA platform. Municipalities outside CABA, such as Olivos, have their own distinct systems and portals for issuing official address certificates.

To obtain a DNI 'tramite number' (status tracking number) if it wasn't provided, contact Renaper via WhatsApp or email at consultas.gob.ar. Provide your full name (Nombre y apellido completo, without dots or hyphens) and, if available, the 26-digit 'boleta prenumerada' number (starts with '673401...'). Renaper will respond with your tramite number, which can then be used to track DNI status.

For Mi Argentina DNI verification, success rates are higher during off-peak hours (e.g., late night). When performing the face scan, move the head very slowly. If the verification fails, deleting and recreating the profile with the same email and phone number is a known workaround that often resolves the issue.
